What is The Governing Body?
'Governing Body' is the English equivalent of the French title Conseil d'Administration of the British Section Parents Association.
What does it do?
The Governing Body is elected to manage specific responsibilities on behalf of the BSPA, notably Finance and Human Resources and Strategy. There are two standing sub-committees (Finance and HR) and working groups are established to deal with other areas of strategic development as necessary e.g. Communication, Information technology.
The Governing Body meets once each term. Meeting dates and minutes of previous meetings can be found on the community page of the British Section VLE.
